Jose Ferrell is the manager of Government, Healthcare and Education engineering for the Intel Security Group at Intel Corporation. He manages a team of engineers who work with customers assessing and assisting with identifying corporate security strategies and requirements, as well assisting them in designing, architecting, and implementing security solutions.
As a veteran in the security industry, Ferrell has an extensive background in security and information protection. In Ferrell’s career he has held leadership and security architect positions with the United States Air Force and companies such as Intrusion Inc., CipherTrust, Secure Computing, McAfee and FireEye. After joining the Intel Security Group, Ferrell has held positions as senior security solutions engineer and enterprise security architect. Ferrell’s career has focused on developing, designing and architecting security solutions for protecting corporate information and securing the infrastructure.
Earlier in his career as a security professional, Ferrell was a member of the United States Air Force where as an engineer he designed, architected and implemented Security Solutions to protect Air Force deployed networks in Europe and the Mideast.
Ferrell holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from Bellevue University, an Associates Degree in Information Technology and an Associates Degree in Instruction of Technology.
