A new generation is getting ready to enter our campuses, bringing a new set of expectations on how they want to live, learn and experience college. The quality of life of a student on campus, which is in large part influenced by physical environments, has a direct impact on students’ academic experience, success and time-to-degree. Learning spaces must be aligned with campus strategic needs, and be flexible, encourage engagement, promote innovation, invite diversity, and include student voice in the design process. In this lively and interactive discussion, representatives from several institutions will discuss the many ways that their campuses are seeking new and innovative approaches that positively impact learning, living and experiential spaces on campus. Come be a part of this important dialogue with many of your campus peers.
