Session Type:
Session Format:
Regular session

Beginning in Fall 2016, Maryville University created a student-run, faculty-managed experiential facility to provide pro-bono cybersecurity services to charities, nonprofits, and schools. Named the Cyber Fusion Center (CFC), Maryville students initially began with 22 clients but this will quickly grow to 150 clients over the 2016-17 academic year. This session will explore the formation, academic integration, and operation of the CFC. Specific discussion will include the CFC’s use of innovative technologies to mirror the experiences of traditional on-ground and online students in undergraduate and graduate programs.
