Q&A with Matt Kinnaman, Group Publisher of University Business and Official UBTech Prize Announcer

What made you decide to volunteer for this important job at UBTech?
I have very ambitious aspirations. I originally wanted to be an astronaut. I’d say this is a close second, so when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at it. Sometimes in life you just need to shoot for the stars.

A post-traditional campus for post-traditional learners

The increase of adult learners in higher ed continues to alter how institutions are serving students, in terms of academic content as well as administrative processes. Colleges and universities must recognize the unique needs of post-traditional learners, including flexible scheduling and the firm expectation of a marketable degree upon graduation.

Agile AV elasticizes communication on campus

In a financially uncertain global climate, higher ed institutions around the world are finding ways to increase technological opportunities for students in economical and scalable ways.

Customizing campus communications through digital signage

Strategic placement, or presenting and streaming custom information to the right audience at the right time, is an essential digital signage best practice.
