The Cloud Based Active Learning Summit

Join 25 CIOs, VPs and Directors of IT and Academic Technology for a special pre-conference summit on cloud-based active learning spaces. Participants will get a hands-on opportunity to explore weConnect from Barco, a totally new approach to AV—where a room’s audio-visual configuration can be switched wirelessly, in the cloud, to support any type of active learning environment.

In weConnect learning spaces—whether they be lecture halls, traditional, remote or virtual classrooms, huddle spaces or collaboration rooms—instructors can instantly change the AV configuration to support their desired active learning format. With weConnect’s cloud-based AV system, there’s no need for matrix switchers, cables or other dedicated hardware in each room.

During the summit you’ll actually experience weConnect learning spaces on wheeled displays and through your own devices. In addition to creating multiple active learning spaces on the fly, you’ll see how all the weConnect learning modes—presentation, participation, virtual, collaboration and more—use the same familiar interface, which makes them easy to set up and use by instructors and students alike.

Plus, you’ll hear implementation case studies, including one from Raymond Pryor, Managing Director of User Services, at King’s College, Pennsylvania.

This summit is an invitation-only event for 25 CIOs, VPs and Directors of IT and Academic Technology.

There is no cost to attend the Cloud Based Active Learning Summit on Monday, June 4th but participation is by invitation only.
