Tim Whitley, co-founder and president of The Social Innovation, has helped dozens of organizations successfully bridge the worlds of broadcast media, the web and social media in order to achieve marketing success. Tim had more than a decade of senior management experience with Nexstar Broadcasting Group. As part of acquisition and sales teams within Nexstar, he developed the web/eMedia model for the company’s broadcast TV properties. Tim played a direct role in architecting the Mobile eMedia Business Model, Mobile Site, iPhone Application, iPad Application and Android Application for all of Nexstar’s 56 TV stations in 14 markets. In 2010 Tim resigned from Nexstar in order to start his own company, with the mission of helping more organizations grow via the web, social media, mobile applications and new technologies. The Social Innovation currently controls more than $13 million in annual marketing expenditures and manages Facebook pages which have generated well over 100,000 fans.
